A great new feature to MKDS is the ability to draw decals that will appear on your kart. With the use of this decal template you will be able to practice making your decals on your computer before getting hands on with the DS. Just simple download the decal template below (png file recomended), use a pipet tool to sample the colours from the side (they are the colours that will be in MKDS) and fill in the squares as you go. Once you've done, why not e-mail your decal to me and I will post it here for you (again, as a png file please). If you are having trouble making a decal then take a look at the ones below to see if their is something you like.
I have received many decals and their are problems. From now on I will not accept any decals that are not in png format. If you send me any gifs, bmps, jpgs or anything else they will be deleted without being seen. I am only doing this cause I have received many in non png format and I have to change them all so that they will work on the site and save space. So please, only send a decal in png format. Also, due to the high number of decals I ask that you only E-Mail me 1 decal a day. If I receive more than 1 from a particluar person in a single day then they shall be ignored. However if you go to the forum you can post as many as you like in the Yoshi Museum and they shall be added here. Thank you.
NOTE: Since I am no longer really working on this site don't expect your decals to be posted immediatly. I am doing this now on 26th July and the last time I was here was before christmas 2005. I may eventually get round to uploading but don't hold your breath.
Disclaimer: Please note that by e-mailing me your decal all rights to it are signed over to MarioKartDS.co.uk. In turn if we publish your decal on the site (whihc we are quite lkely to do) we make it public property to be used by anyone. We will of course print the name of the artist with the decal but if anyone else wishes to use it on another site or as their own decal on MKDS then they can without giving you credit.
